Each day I become more convinced me and Gillian are soul mates. I could get a trailer, park next to her and we could hide from people in our respective trailers, TOGETHER.

I’ve gained alot from the past two years at my job. The more I’ve learned about the philosophies and ethics of other clinics, even within my own hospital system, the more I realize how I’ve hit the first job jackpot in many ways. And tonight just cemented that in another way. Sitting around, laughing, stuffing our faces with junk food. It’s been a rough few months but we’re all weathering it and getting through it, most importantly supporting each other along the way. We’re gonna be ok. Making cheesy jokes, telling crazy stories, and probably stuffing our faces as we go. I do my best to always remember how much my life doesn’t suck. Nights like tonight make that much easier.

Just tore this up. Yea, tomorrow’s gonna be a gym day.

A new vintage store opened next to my local record store, I bought a bag there and when he gave me the receipt it had this picture at the top. Apparently he has some deal that every receipt will have a picture of someone and when you have 5 you get a discount of some sort I believe. Which is all good and pretty clever in my opinion but like I told the owner when he explained this to me, I don’t really need a reason to keep a receipt with Johnny Rotten’s picture on it.

Just finished rewatching the last three episodes of Community. I’ve been thinking a lot about the show and it’s future. I’ve read what Harmon has said about his firing, I’ve seen the celebrity and non-celebrity reaction tweets, the cast and crew thank you tweets, and read the think-pieces. I’ve mourned the news along with the other fans and probably have appeared not-totally-sane to my non pop-culture obsessed friends.

But while watching the episodes I wasn’t thinking about any of that. I was laughing my butt off. I was barely breathe watching Shirley and Annie murdering the blacksmith and his family, Troy lost his pants to a pair of 9’s, Britta can’t find the “hug” button, EVERYTHING the dean does/says, Abed the plumber and his crazy wife, and I could keep going. The character moments still make me smile and re-affirm the power of friendship. Another classic Winger speech to add to the list. And well frankly, gazing lovingly at Goth Britta. Yes I had moments where I would think, “there are scenes and ideas of the kind I’m sure I’lll never see in this show again” and it did depress me a little.
